Welcome

It’s Just Me…..

I grew up in a village just outside of Northampton and have lived in most parts of the country over the years.  By far my favourite place to live is Swindon.  It seems to get a bad press, but it has some amazing people living here and a great base of art, music and manufacture.  Personally, I wish  had moved here years ago.

I have worked in many industries over the years, qualifying in many areas of commercial business. I spent the first few years working in the family business of antique restoration and french polishing.  Moving on to technology after studying at college for a C&G in electronic service and design, later moving into retail and working for some of the largest electronic retailers in the country.  As that market shrank I decided on moving to the corporate world and found a home in the fibre optic industry and for many years traveled widely.  After 10 years I decided to go back to electronics and worked as an applications engineer for a metals company who supply solders, pastes and glues to many industries world wide. I gave it all up in the hope of finding a less stressful life, travelling is fun but not for too long.  I took the plunge into something I had been in love with most of my life, photography.

I have been passionate about photography since I can remember. I fondly remember the first time I held camera and was allowed to take one picture at the age of 8. I remember waiting patiently for the image to be processed and returned in one of those envelopes with the negatives in. I still have that first picture. I have added a few more images to the collection since then.

I’m now a full time portrait photographer with many years experience in both commercial and private settings. Published in many magazines over the years for both commercial, editorial and advertising shots, I have developed a certain style.
